Dr. Johnson

Dr. Jacob Johnson graduated with distinction from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He was selected by the dental faculty of his school for induction into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon honorary dental fraternity which recognizes select individuals for distinguished scholarship and character within the profession of dentistry. Following graduation he completed a one-year general residency at the University of Washington School of Dentistry. His love and care for children led him to pursue an additional two-year specialty residency in Pediatric Dentistry, for which he received a certificate from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. Dr. Johnson is trained extensively in early childhood development, child psychology, behavior management, and emergency dental treatment. He also received training in working with special needs patients and sedation. As a board-certified pediatric dentist, Dr. Johnson is an active member of American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. He is certified and licensed in sedation dentistry.

Dr. Johnson has a sincere interest in providing the highest quality care while creating a fun and playful environment for his patients. He strives to continuously improve himself through continuing education as well as reading dental journals and other publications to help him learn and practice the newest advancements in the dental field.

Life away from the practice is shared with his family, which includes his wife, Tifani, and four children. He actively supports his children’s recreational activities whether it’s driving his daughter to yoga or volunteer coaching for his son’s flag football team. Dr. Johnson also enjoys spending time outdoors kayaking, hiking and bicycling.
